This dish was simple and good, it's called Backerbsensuppe and I'm assuming this is a common soup in Austria. It was like a crunchball soup, it was crunchy like cereal but salty. :giggle: The soup was mainly beef broth.
I looked it up in the dictionary and the direct translation in English is "Fried batter pearl". :B Idk.

'Fried pearl batter.'

My guess is that because the little wads of dough look like deep fried pearls.

Me too! I've thought about making a gallery just for food before, but I don't have many pictures of food 'cause I forget. :stare: I'll do it eventually and make YOU hungry someday! :la:
